Answer: AP, don't be stupid; everyone with at least half a brain knows that you cannot prove a negative. On top of which, the burden of proving, or disproving, an assertion is apon the person making that assertion - since
you have alleged that Tea Party members are racist, then
you must prove that allegation, which is presumed to be false until you prove otherwise.
Typical Alinsky-style propaganda disinformation tactic.

Don’t have to “prove” that Tea Partiers are not racist; the burden of proof is on the AP to prove that they are.
To: chessplayer
Have yet to hear definitive proof that this actually happened but for the sake of argument let's just say it did. What does this prove when you have absolutely no proof as to exactly who said it? For all any one knows a rabid commie could have shouted this out. This is nothing more than another lame attempt to paint the Right with as broad a negative brush as a means to counter criticism of socialism. I would imagine we will be hearing this same tune from the media between now an the election.

This is what it has come to. In this news column from the AP on the Tea Party rally in Harry Reids hometown of Searchlight, Nev., yesterday, the AP puts the burden of proof on Andrew Breitbart to prove that no one yelled the N-word at the Congressional Black Caucus in Washington last SundayIt's simple:
AP is a Communist Front organization that mostly houses pedophiles,
Therefore,
No one yelled the N-word at the Congressional Black Caucus in Washington last Sunday.

Ah yes, the old tact of disproving a negative, “I do not beat my wife.”

The AP has just challenged someone to prove an imagined event didn’t happen. Typical lib logic. “We here at the AP challenge you to prove that you do not intend to dynamite the UN building.” That’s the kind of logic that was used in the ex-Soviet Union.

If Tea Party events were chock full of people uttering racist and violent words directed at Obama and libs in general, it would be a simple matter for Big Lib Media to tape actual racist and violent words and actions. That have to concoct out of thin air the lie about racist words hurled at a Dem congressman speaks volumes about how actually un-racist and un-violent the Tea Parties are.

The “impossible to prove a negative” is itself misleading. In many cases, “proof by contradiction” does indeed prove the seemingly unprovable assertion.
This proof in this particular case would be a simple one on the first freshman quiz, and in fact has already been widely discussed. We don’t even have to assume that the Black Caucus (BC) paraded through the crowd to troll for (if not instigate) a racial incident:
- At least two members of the Black Caucus group themselves were seen using video cameras.
- We can be assured that they were quite careful to focus on anything out of line
- They’ve had plenty of time to check out their video.
- If they had seen anything approaching what they claim, we’d be seeing it on the MSM 24/7.
- But we’re not.
- Therefore, there were no racial incidents.
