What’s even the point of the rapture if the resurrection occurs first?

Hah! You just ridiculed the teaching of Paul! It was Paul, not me, who taught that the resurrection of the dead in Christ precedes the rapture of the living!

You stated *the resurrection* without specifying.

Believers are going to be taken out of the world before the tribulation, not after. Of course Christians who have died must be resurrected for all believers to be raptured, but you’re conflating the resurrections and when they occur.

But recognizing that the dead in Christ must be resurrected first in order for all believers to be taken up into the air, does not mean that the rapture happens after the tribulation. You’re reading way more into that than is said.
