Now Max Baucus tells us: the health care overhaul America was just forced to endure was the government’s attempt to fix the “mal-distribution of income.” It’s an admission that sadly comes after the bill has passed and been signed by President Obama. But it’s better late than never.
While the acknowledgment likely wouldn’t have stopped the legislation because chances are it was common knowledge behind closed doors, at least the admission has now become public. And it proves the point the whole exercise had nothing to do with Americans’ health and more to do with the Marxist concept of “redistributing” wealth.
According to FoxNews.com, Baucus said:
“Too often, much of late, the last couple three years, the mal-distribution of income in American is gone up way too much, the wealthy are getting way, way too wealthy and the middle income class is left behind,” he said. “Wages have not kept up with increased income of the highest income in America. This legislation will have the effect of addressing that mal-distribution of income in America.”

Hey Congress, and obama. Quit lying to us, no-one trusts any of you anymore and that is your fault. While you're at it, quit trying to legislate social values, that is not your job. For good measure, quit trying to impose your socialistic, communistic, fascist and un-American ideals on us. That is most definitely not your job!
On second thought, never mind. What you have now for a job will not be your job(s) after the very next election cycle. You are all going to be out on your backsides, and it can't happen fast enough for me.
Doesn’t Mr. Baucus realize that tinkering with the distribution of the wealth will have an adverse effect on the creation of wealth?
Congress ought to be looking to encourage creation of wealth, or making the pie higher. This bill will do exactly the opposite.
The gap between people’s income may be reduced, but personally I’d rather earn $80k and have a CEO earn $10 million than have the CEO cut down to a million if I would have to get along on $15k.

I have long exhorted conservatives not to allow the left to control the language. If you control the language, you control the perception and thought process, and you control the argument.
Part of the communist strategy has been to pit the poor against the rich (of course, not the elite rulers) and to urge the poor to either revolt against the rich or to empower a government to take from “the rich” to “redistribute.”
“Redistribution of wealth” is a communist lie.
What it is confiscation of INCOME and using that confiscated income to buy a support base. And the government takes not only from “the rich,” but anyone who works and has an income and gives to any that receive a handout from “the government” (the taxpayer) to ensure their continued loyalty.
I’m glad that at least the rat, commie-bastard Baucus has used an honest term by confessing that the SOCIALIST MEDICINE bill is primarily a REDISTRIBUTION OF INCOME.
Pelosi said we would find out what it is after it was passed - well, how do you like it so far? What other surprises are yet to be discovered?
Democrats (Congressmen in general) have lost the public's trust and can't be allowed to legislate without continuous surveillance from the people they are supposed to be serving!
Of course they are aware of that.
Their goal is to eliminate the middle class by destroying their financial independence. Once they drive the middle class downward into the “government-handout” class, they will demand that the government continue to provide for them.
What this means is that their (the original communists) primary goal is to eliminate the middle class to return governance to a two-tier structure: the working class and the ruling class. They want to return us to a feudal state, and they can’t do that as long as the middle class exists, because what that middle class represents is independence and mobility and self-empowerment. This is why the mid-19th century industrialists helped to fund the communists.
Their ultimate goal would be to unionize all the working class so that working class would fee they had some representation. Of course, the union bosses would be (as they are now) a part of the ruling elite.
And remember, they are not “redistributing ‘wealth’” at this point, they are “confiscating INCOME.” That point the rat commie bastard Baucus has correct.
40-50% of taxation of every dollar earned isn’t enough to pay for welfare and bloated Public employee salaries, pensions and benefits.
50% of Americans pay no taxes, so they will basicall Cloward & Piven the US to a Communist state where all is free and everything is controlled.
