President Obama has nominated Arizona federal trial court Judge Mary H. Murguia to serve on the U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, the court announced Friday.
Murguia, 49, has served for the last decade as a federal district judge and previously held senior positions in the U.S. attorney's office for Arizona during the Clinton administration.
...Murguia, a native of Kansas, is the twin sister of Janet Murguia, a former Clinton advisor and head of the National Council of La Raza, the nation's largest Latino civil rights advocacy group.

I’m glad you posted this. There was a little, I mean little, AP story about this, not prominently displayed, on my local paper’s web site a couple days ago. AP did NOT MENTION that her sissy was President of “the Race”. When I googled her name, up popped a story in which she was hearing a case against our local sheriff (Joe Arpaio). She was asked to recuse herself due to her sister’s position. She didn’t think that she had to, but she did.
If this was NOT a “wise Latina” but a white guy, with a brother who was President of a “White group”, it would have been all over the media.
