Abbas Rejects Obama’s Peace Talks and Israeli Concessions

(IsraelNN.com) Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas, emboldened by U.S. President Barack Obama’s tough talk on Israel, has rejected American-mediated talks with Israel unless Israel agrees to demands to stop building for Jews in most newer parts of Jerusalem.

Abbas told the Arab League summit in Libya that Israel must make more concessions in accordance with President Obama’s view that large parts of Jerusalem are “occupied.”

Abbas has taken the president’s condemnation of Israel’s building for Jews in all of Jerusalem as a signal that Israel can be pushed into a diplomatic corner.

The Executive Branch’s policy contradicts stated Congressional policy, expressed in law, that Jerusalem is the united capital of Israel.

Abbas had better wake up to the fact that the US isnt running things in Israel.

Obama’s Muslim leanings are not going to stop israel from doing as they deem fit for their country.

Obama doesn’t seem to realize that his strokes to the various leaders of the Islamic countries aren’t cutting any mustard in the Arab world, nor are they winning us any Moslem friends. Meanwhile, he’s selling out our only reliable ally in the Middle East, even as he’s taking actions which can only serve to weaken and even destabilize Israel’s government.

I think he realizes all of that, I think he is accomplishing the real goal of his presidency, to weaken Israel and destroy America. I see absolutely no reason to imagine that he ever intended otherwise.

It is important to understand the enemy. the enemy has 1 purpose: to eliminate Israel from the map.

And their philosophy allows any means to that end

Currently their objective is to talk Israel into giving up strategic defensive positions. This Israel will not do without a guarantee that those positions -- which are in the heart of Israel -- will not be used to launch an attack

If such positions were given up and were used to launch an attack -- and the attack were successful -- then enemy could very well realize its actual objective

but blah-blah is such a fool he convinces himself that the enemy is harmless. and it's just like the Looney Left to do that -- they even like to let proven dangerous crooks outta jail free
