It was one of the prouder days in my life to see my father buried at Arlington. I kept thanking all those involved in the process. They all told me, “No Sir. Thank your father for his service to our country.” They all seemed honored to participate in the burial.

my two young nephews were in our group and we got to the vietnam memorial

while we were there my nephews saw people using pencils and paper to go over their relatives names at the memorial

one of my nephews asked me if vietnam was worth us losing 58,000 men

I said the moral cause was right but unfortunately the execution was poor

my nephew’s father in our group just smiled at me
