I'm 63. Except for one semester in college when jobs were scarce and a six-month period ... I've worked, hard, since I was 18... I make a good salary, ... Given the economy, there's no retirement in sight.

I don't think I will ever be able to retire either, but I'm still paying for 3 kids in college, not to mention the other 18 years of private school for all 3. I also have a boat and house and vacation home I probably shouldn't have bought, but that was my decision. How old are you? Still in high school? Maybe after a little experience you won't write such ignorant comments.
