The zot, for relative newbies, is a time honored practice where trolls and other lowlife scum would be identified by FReepers, receive numerous funny posts in reply to their posts, and within minutes be kicked off FR (the zot!).
Numerous ad hoc organizations such the Viking Kitties and the Road Killed Beeber Association were connosseurs of the zot.
The challenge for FReepers was to post the thread before the mods could zot said trolls or lowlife scum. Or to use the vernacular: you were “in before the zot.”
In times past perhaps but the post I was referring to remains and has gone largely unchallenged. It was truly disgraceful imho.
