That reasoning is flawed. We knew nothing about her. McCain had already won the nomination.
Why would anyone NOT support her at that time? This is completely bogus reasoning?
Ummmm....did you have the same complaint when she supported McCain as VP candidate 1 1/2 years ago? McCain was the same then.
All I’ve been doing is discuss it, and frankly I’m taking a hard look at you and what kind of agenda you might have.
No, the point is McCain is the same then as now. McCain is the standard in the current argument.
If McCain is the honest standard for judging Palin, the standard would have been used in 2008.
If it’s honest.
I would never do facebook.....
The basic strategy for a mole is to take on the appearance of that which he intends to infiltrate, in all aspects except for one. This one exception is his target.
There are moles on this site who target particular candidates. Palin is a high value target, probably the highest.
“and frankly Im taking a hard look at you and what kind of agenda you might have.”
AHA!!
You are getting worried about out Man50.
Lets me tell you that Man50 is a preevert, and is organizing a whole conspiracy of preeverts!!(Keenan Wynn)
Man50 is going to vote the straight Vegetarian ticket, but go on eating red meat. How do you like THAT?
Remember the reality of 2008....
We had no choice.
Now, in this moment, the people of AZ do.
Are you expecting us to take that seriously? McCain was running against Obama not another, better conservative candidate. He would have been president and she would have been VP.
In a way she didn't support him - he was supporting her. Without her, McStupid wouldn't have gotten over 40% of the vote.
She made him then and she's attempting to do it again against his own party.
Sorry, your reasoning is completely flawed.
Please try to make sense.
Not really.
I’m just waiting for a good argument against Palin for her support of McCain.
See if this makes sense to you.
The typical democrat/socialist/progressive suffers from a celebration of envy, a need to control the lives of others and to reject absolute truth. But the most fragile part of the socialist (progressive) is their pride. Their entire worldview is based on the fact that they have fooled themselves into believing they are noble and honorable because they support social justice.
In fact social justice is only a mirage. Social justice is nothing but the reflection of himself, in the mythical pond, that Narcissus fell in love with.
That was a different scene and you know it. We were forced to vote for the clown the GOP Beltway selected—it was his ‘turn’. Also faced the commie-pro-Islam Chicago thug 0bama so it was hardly a question of supporting Sarah and having to vote for McCain.
Palin doesn’t support any of these socialist principles.
And soon the McCain thing will dry up and go away, while Palin goes on being the highest priority target for socialists and their moles.
Socialists who can’t sell their ideology on its own merits because it looks and smells like what it really is.
(There is hope for the socialists, useful idiots and tyrants alike—remember that Narcissus changed his ways right before he died.)
Whoa, this latest turn in the debate has really got you sweating.
Get over it. Palin will support the man who vaunted her into the national spotlight and gave her a chance at being #2 in the nation. If McCain had changed his position to an extreme leftist it might be different, but McCain is who he always was. Palin would be a hypocrite if she changed her mind.
Okay, now I see where the reasoning comes from. You, and a few others, have elevated Palin over McCain. I can see that and, at this time, it's fair. I think we all have. Palin would certainly be a better choice for president than McCain.
However, to backdate that reasoning to a few months prior to the election is specious. At that time the focus was on McCain and Palin was used to elevate him.
Now, we have a better candidate in Hayworth and Palin is again being used to try to elevate McCain.
Using Palin to raise McCain over Obama is one thing but to use her to raise him over Hayworth is completely different.
It's interesting to see that you don't see that this whole conflict revolves around McCain. People are dying to support Palin but she's turning her back on them by supporting McCain.
This race is NOT about Palin - it's about McCain and you have juxtaposed the two. You just don't see it.
