In all honesty, think this is a noble program. Note that the root of “conservation” is “conservative.” I get the urge to show the Green-O-palians by blazing all your lights and leaving your SUVs idling in the driveway, but exactly who are you really going to show up by doing this? Who else is going to notice or give a flying fart? It’s your own power bill thats gonna be higher.
I’m no fan of the religion of Eco-Fascism. And it’s a shame that their lies and extremism justifiably breeds such contempt from common sense people. But many of the actions described here are either abject chest-beating or outright capitalist masochism.
Speaking of farting - there’s another idea. Eat plenty of beef and beans and let it rip!

I wonder are they shutting down the Earth Hour web site for an hour in each of the 24 time zones around the world?
