It settles nothing because not one interviewer has done a good enough job to say “Hey Sarah, straight up, you have 10 minutes to answer, give us your opinion on immigration reform” instead of giving her 30 seconds to answer a question that is more complex then that

I agree with that. Interviewers are quite incompetent in asking poignant questions and allowing full answers. But she has had her Facebook site for some time and could have put out a full position without any talking head's interference or incompetence.

It is rather academic since she has never said she has any intention of running which is a good reason not to issue a position.
