Nothing was said about what to do about the illegals already here. Why can't she just answer this?
Just by hearing what she had to say about the issue showed me she doesn’t know about it, because she has never lived it.
I don't live in a border state, but I know enough about the issue to be able to deduce that something has to be done about the illegals already here, bleeding the system. Any politician that doesn't know about this issue is woefully unprepared - or willfully ignoring it.
Just looking at McCain in Greta’s piece ... he stinks. He’s still using the same lame lines he used in ‘08. He was tough when talking about HCR and how it was passed but ... I hope AZ doesn’t buy it. Yech!

I watched the interview with Greta, too. I thought Sarah did just fine. I have no problem with her decisions. I agree with you about McCain, the only reason he got my vote last Nov. was because of Palin. I admire Sarah Palin’s political acumen. You think Sarah doesn’t owe McCain anything but consider if McCain does get re-elected. Should Sarah run and win the presidency, John McCain is going to owe her.

Well, that’s your opinion. A reasonable study of McCain’s history indicates he doesn’t pay back debts and uses those around him.
She is ignoring it...but totally aware of it. For one thing anyone who speaks out against illegal immigration is immediately marginalized and she is not about to do that right now. She knows how McPain feels and there is no point arguing with him about this if she is going to stump for him. There is a time a place and a way to approach the topic...if Obama starts pushing it and Americans react badly enough that would be the time to address it. I remember Arnold tried to go there when he got elected in CA and he was trounced immediately. She's a smart lady and knows it is an incendiary issue. Time and place...time and place....
The 14th Amendment solved Lincoln's problem of conferring 'citizenship' on the slaves after they were freed. Knowing he couldn't force the state's to grant them citizenship, he gave them an opportunity to become federal citizens, with all the rights and priviledges and protections that natural born citizens had.
Now that the states for the most part have given up their sovereignty to the federal government, granting 30 million illegal aliens federal citizenship via the 14th Amendment will just become a matter of a stroke of the pen, the protections and guarantees already in place by virtue of the 14th Amendment. Simple, eh?

Nah. Palin is loyal. Loyalty is a virtue. Sarah knows she would be still toiling in obsurity (and several million dollars poorer) were it not for McCain, so she is doing what she must. Can you imagine if she had refused or helped J.D.? She would have been bashed for disloyalty. Unthinkable.
However, Greta gave her an opportunity to bash Hayworth and she did not. J.D. Hayworth will be the next senator from AZ. I think Sarah knows it. She certainly knows Tea Party people despise McCain. You could see the remarkable phonyness of McCain and his stupid drug-addict wife on their faces on stage. McCain does not have a chance. Don't hate Sarah for what she must do. It will soon be over. The old scumbag will go home. will shack up with her lover (or the nearest CVS pharmacist). And Meghan will blow up to 200 lbs within a few years. And we'll all live happily after after.
