One of the more controversial elements of ObamaCare is the mandate for most individuals to purchase insurance beginning in 2014. There is really no precedent for a federal mandate of this scale requiring individuals to purchase a product or service. So not surprisingly a number of state Attorney Generals have indicated they will be filing suit questioning the constitutionality of this provision.

Do not be fooled by this. Just like the “mistake” of not covering children with pre-existing (what a misuse of the English language that phrase is. The condition already exists) conditions this was left out so another 500 page bill could be constructed to fix it.
Horse feathers! I have read it. It's in the 2300 page reconciliation bill. It gives the enforcement to the IRS and says that the IRS code will be amended for such.
We need to wear t-shirts saying “We are all Amish now”. It get a conversation going.

It’s probably just that the rest of the Dems, like Weiner, could never admit the IRS enforcement in public, so just like their denial of the abortion funding, this is their story and they’re sticking to it!
Nope. I have read the bill. Part of it become IRS code.
