Coming on stage to the tune of AC/DC's For Those About To Rock, We Salute You, the 2008 Republican presidential ticket just reunited in Pima, Ariz.
Former Alaska governor Sarah Palin is there to campaign on behalf of the 2008 GOP presidential nominee, Sen. John McCain. He's seeking his fifth term in the Senate.
Palin just said that "I think this go around, when all the votes are tallied he's going to win this one."
"Send the maverick back to the United States Senate!" the '08 vice presidential nominee, doing a little mavericking of her own in a leather jacket, told a couple thousand supporters at a local fair grounds.

Few things are more nauseating than watching Sarah campaign for this RINO loser. ...especially considering his opponent (J.D. Hayworth) is a true blue conservative. Just turned to FNC a few minutes ago, watch Sarah shriek her support for the “maverick,” and almost lost my lunch.
A written document of support would have been sufficient since she owed him. Then she should have disappeared. True Conservatives will, and are abandoning her because of this. Too bad. Now it’s Ryan!
Obviously a coded message urging attacks against the poor Democrats.
There’s no “Pima, AZ,” at least not around here. It was held at the Pima County Fairgrounds, and the county is called Pima County. The closest post offices besides Tucson are Corona, Vail, and Sahuarita. Typical sloppy leftists.
I didn’t go, could have gone during lunch, but I might have been arrested for boo’ing McLettuce too hard.
Lot of Palin haters on this thread. You hide and then pounce.
Maybe some people will finally see how she comes off when speaking if she’s saying something they disapprove of???
You got it right. She’s finished.! She was a breath of fresh air, and now just a stale fart!
Couple of thousand in the audience? Not her usual crowd.
I don’t think she’s going to help McCain very much, because her supporters are all conservatives, and they really don’t like to see her doing this. All this can do is hurt her with her base.
I wish she had told Juan that she’d help him in the general if he won the primary, but was not helping him in the primary.
Her normal speaking voice is fine — kind of endearing, in fact. But when she raises it (especially to the level I heard it a few minutes ago) it becomes unbearably shrill.
Even a loose cannon is pointed at the target on occasion.
Six more years of own goals is not desirable.
I don't know that she really has any choice. Can you imagine if she refused to campaign for him, or worse, came out for Hayworth?
I don't like it either, but much like we had to hold our noses and vote for him (Her actually) sometimes your obligated.
I agree completely.
It’s kind of that Hillary “hear me roar” thing that gets a little grating.
Mr. niteowl77
I certainly have never hated her....actually, admire her very much. But, this really disgusts me. Not so much that she is cheer
leading for McCain....but, because I despise him so very much.
“Lot of Palin haters on this thread. You hide and then pounce.”
Hide? We are not “hiding.” We are here all the time alive and well.
And you use the word “hate.” Pointing out that someone is an idiot does not mean “hate.”...Maybe that is how you work.
There are comments like now when she does something really stupid.
Love Sarah, but she is spending political capital on a lost cause who is bought and paid for by Soros.
Keep toiling, Gov. Palin. But please be sure to wash your hands, as you leave this rally.
At our local 912 meeting last night, Gina White oriented us to a networking website, Reset 2010, set up to support constitutional replacements into offices natioanlly. We are sending $9.12 TODAY to support JD Hayworth and will do so for each candidate in all the upcoming races this year and beyond. If a lot of conservatives send in $9.12 TODAY for Hayworth, it will send a BIG SHOT across the bow of people like McCain, who said “the Tea Party aren’t supporting anyone right now,” no doubt to give Palin’s support the needed cover excuse. We love Palin, but we see her as paying off a personal debt and that’s all. That’s understandable, but even more reasonable are a WHOLE LOT OF DONATIONS in the amount of $9.12 to Hayworth TODAY from across the country in response to McCain’s remark. That will accomplish far more than grumbling against Palin, and, truth to tell, she would probably even approve.
RESET 2010 and iCaucus.com will help us turn this around. Boxer/CA, Stark/CA and Pelosi/CA are all being opposed by iCaucus candidates; furthermore, there are three important upcoming races, one in April and two in May. Learn more details at Reset 2010 and iCaucus.
If we all do our LITTLE part to strategically target the candidates worth supporting and not waste any time hating Palin for repaying what she perceives as a personal debt, even if McCain isn’t deserving of it, we’ll silence our critics and hers. Let’s keep moving forward; check out Reset 2010 and iCaucus.com!
