I always said, the day the NoKos go down, our first order of business is to get back the Pueblo.

I have always been of that opinion. However, actualy getting Pueblo back would be a task. It’s parked near downton Pyongyang in a river that is a long way from the ocean. IF we ever get it back, the recovery team(s) would be in NOKO for a long time towing Pueblo down that river and out to sea. But, IMHO, it would be worth it. Had we known about it some years ago when she was towed from Wonson to Pyongyang, we could have gotten her then. I read that a Polish firm was hired to do the tow. I just bet she had a lot of company to prevent her from being retaken by the US Navy.
