Same here, upsdriver. My first vote as a stoopid clueless teenager was for Jimmy Carter (OK, now you can probably guess my age, LOL).
After sleeping in my car early mornings in gas lines on odd/even days, 21% interest on a loan I had, our hostages in Iran, "The misery index", "Just put on a sweater", "Don't use your credit card", etc., etc., I saw the light via Ronaldus Magnus (Reagan) and have never looked back.
God bless Ronald Reagan... it really was "Morning in America" again. We desperately need another president like him...
