Racist Hate Mail Attacks Tea Party Express (Lloyd Marcus)
American Thinker ^ | April 7, 2010 | Lloyd Marcus
Posted on April 7, 2010 2:04:23 PM PDT by jazusamo

I am Lloyd Marcus, black singer/songwriter of the American Tea Party Anthem traveling nationally on the Tea Party Express III tour. While riding on the bus to our first rally of the day in Davenport, IA, I opened the following email from Hallie Kempt.

Ms Kempt’s subject line read, “YOU ARE STILL A NIGGER”. Here is the text of her email,

“HOW FAST YOU SELECTIVE CHOSE TO FORGET. IT WAS NOT THAT LONG AGO THAT YOU WERE NOT ALLOWED IN THE MILITARY AND IS STILL DISCRIMINATED AGAINST AND THEY WILL ACCEPT YOU IN THE TEA PARTY AS LONG AS YOU DO NOT FORGET YOU ARE STILL A “NIGGER” NO MATTER HOW HARD YOU WANT TO FORGET, IT IS
STILL IN THEIR MINDS. YOU ARE TO [sic] STUPID TO KNOW WHEN YOU ARE BEING USED. YOU AND MICHAEL STEELE. YOU MAKE ME SHAME [sic] OF MY BLACK BROTHERS. YOU WILL NEVER BE MORE THAN A “NIGGER” THEY NEVER LET THE PRESIDENT OF THIS MOST POWERFUL COUNTRY FORGET HE IS A “NIGGER” ONCE A NIGGER, ALWAYS A NIGGER.
NATIVE AMERICAN GRANNY.”
I have saved Ms. Kempt’s above email for documentation.

Ms. Kempt is a product of the Democrats’ and liberal mainstream media’s relentless attempts to portray the Tea Party movement as racist. I guarantee this ignorant vicious woman, Ms. Kempt, has never attended a tea party. Her email is typical of the intolerance and hate I receive from the left in response to my conservative message via my music, columns and participation in the Tea Party movement. The left hates minorities who do not view themselves as victims, and who love their country.

At southern state rallies, countless white moms and grandmothers have approached me and said, “Mr. Marcus thank you for all you are doing for our country. May I hug your neck?” Big burly white men give me hearty handshakes in thanks for my efforts while they fight back tears. This is not the behavior of angry racist mobsters. The folks who attend these tea parties are not racist. They are great Americans fearful of the tyrannical Obama administration and his plan to bypass our Constitution to, in his own words, “transform America”.

At our Madison, WI rally it was cold and rainy. Still, we had a very good crowd. Local patriot meat packers made fresh Bratwurst for our Tea Party Express team the day before our rally. They cooked the Bratwurst on the grill for us. Delicious!

Apparently, we Americans will fry anything. In Brookfield, WI, I ate my first fried pickle. Yes, you heard me, fried pickle. Very good. Another memorable experience while traveling on Tea Party Express tour III. Time to do laundry. Three rallies tomorrow. Talk to y’all soon.

All the best, Lloyd

Members of the Mid-South Tea Party demanded Monday that U.S. Rep. Steve Cohen, D-Tenn (RACIST)

Members of the Mid-South Tea Party demanded Monday that U.S. Rep. Steve Cohen, D-Tenn., retract statements he made in a radio interview last week criticizing the movement. They also insisted he apologize and meet with party members.

“The Mid-South Tea Party has never and will never condone or participate in racism, homophobia, anti-Semitism, the Ku Klux Klan or neo-Nazism,” said Mark Herr, a member of the Mid-South Tea Party.

... The tea party movement’s aim is to cause government to hear our voice. And for Rep. Cohen to disregard our efforts and make such unfounded claims is appalling.” Herr was joined by more than a dozen Tea Party members and Donn Janes, who is running in the District 8 congressional race, to protest comments Cohen made on “The Young Turks,” an Internet and satellite radio talk show. Cohen represents District 9.

NOPD: Jindal Aide, BF Beaten, Not Robbed, By ‘Caucasian Males’; Hayride Stands by Palin Pins Report
Tuesday, April 13, 2010 | By Kristinn Taylor
Posted on April 13, 2010 6:11:11 PM PDT by kristinn

Edited on April 13, 2010 7:45:49 PM PDT by Jim Robinson. [history]
Our betters in the blogosphere and mainstream media have spent the afternoon tut-tutting those of us who suspect a political angle to the savage attack on Republican Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal’s chief fundraiser Allee Bautsch and her boyfriend Joe Brown last Friday night after a fundraising dinner in New Orleans.

The Hayride, for those who haven’t noticed, has not retracted their report that the couple was attacked for wearing Sarah Palin pins, even though a spokesman for Gov. Jindal has put out e-mails to select reporters and bloggers saying they were not wearing Palin pins.

This evening, the New Orleans Police Department released a statement pleading with the public for information about the attack. The description by the police of the incident does not describe a robbery, but it also does not say what exactly precipitated the attack, nor does it report a motive.

The statement does describe the attackers as a group of “Caucasian” men, one of whom was described as “dirty” and wearing a beard and ponytail.

That describes a typical leftwing protester of the type that were hanging outside the Republican fundraiser taunting attendees.

Here is the Police statement in full, courtesy of WWL-AM 870:

Superintendent Warren J. Riley and members of the New Orleans Police are asking the public’s assistance in locating and identifying several suspects wanted in connection with an incident that occurred in the 600 block of Saint Louis Street . The incident occurred Friday April 9, 2010, at approximately 10:45 P.M.

According to investigators, the victims were walking from a function at a restaurant in the 400 block of Royal Street . When they entered the 600 block of Saint Louis Street , three to five Caucasian males made derogatory comments to the 25-year-old female and her 28-year-old male friend. When the male victim turned towards the group of men, one or more of the suspects struck the victim several times. At some point the female victim fell to the ground and screamed. The suspects then fled on foot. Officers in the area heard the female screaming and responded to the scene and broadcasted a description of the suspects and requested Emergency Medical Paramedics. As the female was waiting for EMS , she used her purse as a pillow. When the victim was in the ambulance, she discovered her purse was missing.

The female was transported to a hospital where she was treated for a broken leg. The male victim was also transported to the hospital and was treated for a mild concussion, fractured jaw and nose.

One of the suspects was described as a Caucasian male who appeared to be dirty, in his 20’s, 6-1 - tall, thin build with a thin face. He had a beard and auburn color hair in a pony tail. He was wearing a light color T shirt and dark color pants.

The incident is on-going and detectives are in the process of determining if any surveillance cameras captured the incident.

Investigators are currently working on the incident and at this time the report is not available. Notification will be made to the media when the report is complete and ready for dissemination.

Investigators are in the process of identifying the suspects, as well as a motive. Eighth District Detective Sergeant Nicholas Gernon is in charge of the investigation. Citizens with information that can help solve this crime are asked to call CRIMESTOPPERS at 822-1111, toll-free 1-877-903-STOP(7867). You could receive a cash reward of up to $2,500.00 for information leading to the arrest and indictment of the responsible person(s). You do not have to give your name nor testify to receive the reward.

BTW, Media Matters can kiss me on both cheeks for attacking Gateway Pundit and Free Republic for our reporting on the brutal attack. (Title: When Gateway Pundit quotes Free Republic, you know the truth is going to lose)

“Lloyd Marcus of the Tea Party Express III tour: Blacks, the Media, & the Tea Parties “
American Thinker ^ | April 22, 2010 | Lloyd Marcus
Posted on April 21, 2010 10:37:19 PM PDT by neverdem

SNIPPET: “At the April 15th Tea Party in Washington, D.C., a reporter for Ebony (a prominent national black magazine) approached me for an interview after my performance. The reporter asked me the same two questions every other reporter has asked: Are the tea parties racist? Why are blacks not attending?

Without going into great detail in this article, I explained to the reporter the tea party movement is not about race, but about stopping an out-of-control administration from pushing our country towards socialism.

Frustratingly, the Ebony magazine reporter replied, “So why do you hate Barack Obama?” Then, outrageously, he asked me again, “Are these rallies racist?” It was as if he did not hear a word I said.

The liberal mainstream media obviously have an agenda and a paradigm to maintain. They say that the tea party movement is racist, and the facts will not change their reporting.

At the Traverse City, Michigan rally on the Tea Party Express III tour, a white woman approached me in a wheelchair. Extremely excited, she said, “Oh my gosh, it’s Lloyd Marcus. May I have a picture with you? Thank you so much for all you are doing for our country. I love you!”

After a picture and hugs, I chatted with other fans.

Later, with tears in his eyes, Don, a Tea Party Express staff member, told me more about the woman in the wheelchair. The woman’s daughter told Don that her mom was dying. The daughter said that her mom told her that all she wanted to do before dying was “to meet Lloyd Marcus.”

Wow! I was blown away and humbled. Then I became extremely angry at the liberal mainstream media’s and Democrats’ vicious, shameful attempts to portray the tea party patriots as racist.”

...Man Convicted of Illegally Accessing Sarah Palin’s E-mail Account and Obstruction of Justice

US DOJ.gov - justice.gov/opa/pr ^ | Friday, April 30, 2010 | n/a
Posted on April 30, 2010 4:20:41 PM PDT by Cindy

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Tennessee Man Convicted of Illegally Accessing Sarah Palin’s E-mail Account and Obstruction of Justice

David C. Kernell, 22, was convicted by a federal jury in Knoxville, Tenn., today for intentionally accessing without authorization the e-mail account of former Alaska governor Sarah Palin and obstruction of justice, Assistant Attorney General Lanny A. Breuer of the Criminal Division and U.S. Attorney James R. Dedrick for the Eastern District of Tennessee announced.

After a week-long trial, a jury found Kernell guilty of one count of misdemeanor unauthorized access to obtain information from a computer and one count of obstruction of justice. The jury found Kernell not guilty of wire fraud. The jury could not reach a verdict on the identity theft charge and the judge declared a mistrial as to that charge.

According to evidence presented at trial, on Sept. 16, 2008, Kernell, a resident of Knoxville, obtained unauthorized access to Gov. Palin’s personal e-mail account by resetting the account password. Evidence showed that after answering a series of security questions that allowed him to reset the password and gain access to the e-mail account, Kernell read the contents of the account and made screenshots of the e-mail directory, e-mail content and other personal information. Kernell posted screenshots of the e-mails and other personal information to a public Website. Kernell also posted the new e-mail account password that he had created, thus providing access to the account by others.

Evidence at trial showed that Kernell became aware of a possible FBI investigation on Sept. 16, 2008, following the illegal entry into the e-mail account. The evidence further showed that Kernell began to delete records and documents with the intent to impede an anticipated FBI investigation.

At sentencing, Kernell faces a maximum of one year in prison and a $100,000 fine for unauthorized access and 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine for obstruction of justice.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Mark Krotoski currently detailed to the Criminal Division’s Computer Crime and Intellectual Property Section (CCIPS) and Assistant U.S. Attorney Greg Weddle of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Tennessee. CCIPS Trial Attorney Josh Goldfoot provided significant assistance. The case was investigated by the FBI’s Knoxville field office.
