“NOPD releases details of incident involving Jindal staffer”
Jay Vise Reporting
SNIPPET: “Governor Bobby Jindal’s press office released the following statement today:
Friday night, the Governors campaign fundraiser, Allee Bautsch, and her boyfriend were involved in an altercation in the French Quarter with a group of people.
While there were protestors around at that time, we are not aware of any evidence that the individuals involved in the altercation were protestors.
Allees leg was badly broken in the incident, she has had surgery, and she is facing a recovery time of two to three months. Her boyfriend had a concussion, and also a fractured nose and jaw. They are both expected to fully recover.
NOPD is investigating the incident and we are refraining from further comment to allow them to fully investigate and ensure justice is done. Our prayers are with Allee. She is a strong person and we are sure she will make a speedy recovery.”

Mother of Beaten Jindal Staffer Breaks Silence to Fox News (Bautsch Stomped, Leg Broken Four Places)

Fox News Megyn Kelly has finally broken the wall of silence on major news coverage of the brutal beating of Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindals top fundraising staffer. A full transcript follows below.
Della Burning, mother of Jindal staffer Allee Bautsch, confirmed that her daughter had been savagely beaten. She refused to discuss whether or not politics were involved (although at one point in the interview she did say the report was accurate when New Orleans Police Information Officer said slurs hurled at her daughter during the attack were political in nature).
Burning confirmed her daughter’s leg is broken in four places and she has five surgical scars and a steel rod now running from her knee to her ankle with seven screws holding it all in place. She did not fall and break her leg as was reported in the lonely and inaccurate story done by the Associated Press. http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/article/ALeqM5ikzm03fmGCMbjFoF2UvfkbGhPm2wD9F2GLOG0
Burning also confirmed that the attackers did not rob her daughter or her daughters boyfriend.
The attack happened one week ago today as Bautsch and her boyfriend left a $10,000-per-plate Republican fundraiser at Brennans Restaurant in the French Quarter where a local group of anarchists, the Iron Rail Collective, were among radical leftist groups that organized a protest outside. Attendees had to run a gauntlet of these aggressive protesters hurling slurs as they left the event. (more details at local news outlet The Hayride http://thehayride.com/2010/04/the-brennans-beatdown-piecing-together-a-story/ )

KELLY: One reporter says that he spoke with the Public Information Officer at the New Orleans Police and that Public Information Officer said that insults of a political nature had been hurled at your daughter and her boyfriend during the attack. Do you have any problem with that report?
BURNING: Honestly this is not a Republican or Democrat problem, this is a problem that a young girl and her boyfriend were attacked and the story hasnt really come out. And I just want to make sure that these guys are found. Thats the important part of this. There is accuracy in the story. I just think that yes when you do the investigation you do look at the people who were in the area at the time, to be able to bring the right people in for questioning. Thats the really important part.
SNIP
KELLY: We certainly hope so. Della hows your daughter doing?
BURNING: This was very serious. She has four breaks in her leg. Its her left leg. She has a rod that goes down the entire center of her leg with seven screws. She has a screw through her entire ankle.
KELLY: Oh, my goodness
BURNING: For a mother, its a lot you know the recovery is enormous. She has five different scars that shell have from this. So this isnt just something that, you know, that she was pushed down on the ground or something or that she fell. That is not the case.
KELLY: They were stomping her.
BURNING: Joseph and Allee, it was such a terrible thing that, I think that coming out of it, it took a really long time to even be able to make sense of the whole thing. You can understand when something like that happens to you.
KELLY: I know that the report says she broke her leg in five places, he broke his nose, as well
BURNING: He has a fractured jaw, a broken nose, a black eye

“Lloyd Marcus of the Tea Party Express III tour: Blacks, the Media, & the Tea Parties “
American Thinker ^ | April 22, 2010 | Lloyd Marcus

SNIPPET: “At the April 15th Tea Party in Washington, D.C., a reporter for Ebony (a prominent national black magazine) approached me for an interview after my performance. The reporter asked me the same two questions every other reporter has asked: Are the tea parties racist? Why are blacks not attending?
Without going into great detail in this article, I explained to the reporter the tea party movement is not about race, but about stopping an out-of-control administration from pushing our country towards socialism.
Frustratingly, the Ebony magazine reporter replied, “So why do you hate Barack Obama?” Then, outrageously, he asked me again, “Are these rallies racist?” It was as if he did not hear a word I said.
The liberal mainstream media obviously have an agenda and a paradigm to maintain. They say that the tea party movement is racist, and the facts will not change their reporting.
At the Traverse City, Michigan rally on the Tea Party Express III tour, a white woman approached me in a wheelchair. Extremely excited, she said, “Oh my gosh, it’s Lloyd Marcus. May I have a picture with you? Thank you so much for all you are doing for our country. I love you!”
After a picture and hugs, I chatted with other fans.
Later, with tears in his eyes, Don, a Tea Party Express staff member, told me more about the woman in the wheelchair. The woman’s daughter told Don that her mom was dying. The daughter said that her mom told her that all she wanted to do before dying was “to meet Lloyd Marcus.”
Wow! I was blown away and humbled. Then I became extremely angry at the liberal mainstream media’s and Democrats’ vicious, shameful attempts to portray the tea party patriots as racist.”

...Man Convicted of Illegally Accessing Sarah Palin’s E-mail Account and Obstruction of Justice
US DOJ.gov - justice.gov/opa/pr ^ | Friday, April 30, 2010 | n/a

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Tennessee Man Convicted of Illegally Accessing Sarah Palins E-mail Account and Obstruction of Justice
David C. Kernell, 22, was convicted by a federal jury in Knoxville, Tenn., today for intentionally accessing without authorization the e-mail account of former Alaska governor Sarah Palin and obstruction of justice, Assistant Attorney General Lanny A. Breuer of the Criminal Division and U.S. Attorney James R. Dedrick for the Eastern District of Tennessee announced.
After a week-long trial, a jury found Kernell guilty of one count of misdemeanor unauthorized access to obtain information from a computer and one count of obstruction of justice. The jury found Kernell not guilty of wire fraud. The jury could not reach a verdict on the identity theft charge and the judge declared a mistrial as to that charge.
According to evidence presented at trial, on Sept. 16, 2008, Kernell, a resident of Knoxville, obtained unauthorized access to Gov. Palins personal e-mail account by resetting the account password. Evidence showed that after answering a series of security questions that allowed him to reset the password and gain access to the e-mail account, Kernell read the contents of the account and made screenshots of the e-mail directory, e-mail content and other personal information. Kernell posted screenshots of the e-mails and other personal information to a public Website. Kernell also posted the new e-mail account password that he had created, thus providing access to the account by others.
Evidence at trial showed that Kernell became aware of a possible FBI investigation on Sept. 16, 2008, following the illegal entry into the e-mail account. The evidence further showed that Kernell began to delete records and documents with the intent to impede an anticipated FBI investigation.
At sentencing, Kernell faces a maximum of one year in prison and a $100,000 fine for unauthorized access and 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine for obstruction of justice.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Mark Krotoski currently detailed to the Criminal Divisions Computer Crime and Intellectual Property Section (CCIPS) and Assistant U.S. Attorney Greg Weddle of the U.S. Attorneys Office for the Eastern District of Tennessee. CCIPS Trial Attorney Josh Goldfoot provided significant assistance. The case was investigated by the FBIs Knoxville field office.
