There was a whole movie made about murdering the president. The president was supposed to be George Bush. You can’t get any worse than that.
Locally - we had some “peace” activists get into alot of trouble for smearing their own blood on the walls of an army recruiting office.
Now that was reported by some as thoughtful patriotic protest.
When leftists do it, dissent is patriotic.
