Funcionarios de la Casa Blanca informaron que más de 16 mil personas se inscribieron en línea para optar por las tres mil plazas disponibles que se ofrecen para escuchar a Obama en el recinto universitario. La visita tiene lugar casi tres años después que Obama llegara a la ciudad como candidato presidencial para delinear su propuesta de revisar el sistema nacional de salud.

White House officials reported that more than 16 thousand people registered online to qualify for the three thousand available seats offered to hear Obama on campus. The visit comes nearly three years after Obama came to town as a presidential candidate to outline his proposal to overhaul the national health system.
