For almost a decade I worked in a domestic violence shelter. I sat with women who were shaking, bruised and ashamed. They were in utter shock and disbelief at the violence that had just occurred. The names of the people in each woman’s story were different but the story lines were remarkably the same.
Police responding to domestic violence calls can tell a similar story. Often times, the officer responding to a call finds a calm man sitting on the front porch steps, smoking a cigarette, quietly waiting for the police to arrive. He greets the officers, and coolly explains to them that his wife is inside, ranting and raving. “She’s crazy, out of her mind. I don’t know what her problem is.”
Her problem is she has just realized what has happened to her.
In much the same way, as Americans try to grasp what just hit them, the hateful Left, are sitting on their lofty perches, telling the story of how the crazy, violent right-wingers are nothing less than terrorists, as they voice their anger over the health care take over:

For the most part, I would say you’re right. But honestly, I have met many women, who walked blindly into it. A lot of these men, are the most likable people—that’s their cover.
And anyhow, babygene’s pontification is irrelevant to how the story actually plays out. Maybe the woman was in denial about subtle signs before, but now something has happened that is well nigh impossible to deny, such as a broken nose.
What is it now, eighty million gun owners in this country, probably 75% of whom are solidly right wing. Let’s compromise and say it’s 50%, which makes for 40,000,000 armed men and women who aren’t calling for a violent confrontation with the left.
In other news, left wing maniacs have recently shot up the recruiting center at Fort Hood, stolen an airplane and flown it into the I.R.S. offices in Austin, shot up the federal courthouse in Las Vegas, attacked the entrance to the Pentagon in Virginia, and killed three professors at a university faculty meeting in Alabama.

I’m very familiar with the Demoncrats of old and new. I’m certain that Leftwing terror organizations since 1865 have taken lessons from the Klan and incorporated those tactics for use in their own terror schemes.
As someone who survived “domestic abuse” (i.e. my ex-husband was a wife-beater), I have long believed the liberals fit the classic abuser profile- they abuse you and abuse you and abuse you and when you speak up or fight back, you are the crazy one or they call the cops on you.
