If it’s so darn important, how about evening and weekend sessions? The business world does it.
***The less the Senate gets done, the less damage they do.**
That was true with the Clinton presidency. He did very little which was great for the Nation - because the American people prospered on their own devices; helped along by the GOP Contract with America.
Sad that Newt can’t catch lightening in a bottle again.
Gee... think Politico might be a bit biased?
If the democrats refuse to listen to the American people, just shut the whole dang thing down until November, when WE get the chance to vote.
Too ‘effin’ bad, ain’t it RATS?
The normally BALL-LESS Republicans finally do a little kickass. I like it.
"How dare you behave as we do!!!"
Nowadays if you want something to catch Newt's attention you'll have to mount it on a television camera.
Poor babies. They do not want to start their committee hearings prior to 2:00 pm. Easy fix, they should stay off airwaves in the morning, and actually go to work. Reminds me of a job a friend had once. He showed up for work at 8:00 and drank coffee until 9:15. Then he worked until 10:00 at which time they had a coffee break. Back to work at 10:45 until noon. Then a lunch “hour” until 1:30. Worked until 2:30 and then took an afternoon break. Went back to work at 3:15 and worked until 4:30 at which time he began putting tools away. Next day same schedule. He could never figure out why nothing got accomplished.
Congress should be banned from media in the morning and work for a living. I don’t know if they are concerned with media appearances in the morning, or recovering from hangovers.

Good show. Damn the torpedoes.
That way we just might be able to limit the damage this idiot mulatto and his socialist compadres can do to the Republic.

Its always a little difficult to hold hearings on national security with despicable, corrupt, disgraceful ANTI-AMERICAN red diaper doper baby communist ingrate dimoCRAPS. Can we crank up HUAC again in 2011?
