No, an American citizen should not be suing under Canada’s hate crimes laws.
If she goes to Canada she should abide by THEIR laws. Her American free speech rights do not apply in another country.
If she feels a country is itimidating her she could:
a) Not go there and publicize the intimidation from her own country’s soil.
b) Go there and be suject to THEIR laws.
Look at the bigger picture than this situation. We don’t want non-citizens coming to the USA and flouting our laws or taking advantage of rights our citizens enjoy.
If we allow the lines of citizenship to be blurred, we face even more problems than we already have of non-citizens coming in and demanding citizenship rights or claiming the laws of their country apply in our country.

As long as Canada lets American citizens into that country, there are obligations they have. Else, they should just close their border.
I do not want a Canadian citizen Muslim coming to the USA and filing a discrimination lawsuit under our Civil Rights Act.
Ann Coulter is opening the door to that happening by filing a hate crimes lawsuit in Canada.

the “organizers” of her appearance opted out of the
event and were not forced out!! This from the ottawa
police. The organizers cancelled the event. Anxious to see if Ann admits that on the factor tonight? I still say the university is bush league and the liberal left ideology thrives at Canadian universities and in the sick minds of profs,probably more so in Canada than in the U.S but you need to get the facts right. I just gave them to you. Don’t argue, just thank me or send me money.
At the end of the day U of O remains bush league
and the province of Ontario discriminates against english

Saudi Arabia would respond if North American White christians went over there and set up churches, drank in public and brought in all their customs, traditions and culture, using a Saudi Charter of Human Rights as their Shield.....Right..Never gonna happen.
