Did the Founders sit around a table and figure out how to mobilize a force to kill British red-coats and ferment a Revolution ?

Don't know what your point is, but no. The sat around a table and figured out how to gain and keep liberty. They made demands, those were rejected, their rights were stripped away and then they were shot at.

What we have so far is rights being contested in a political process which is far from played out.
