GQ has a feature this month on Milwaukee Bucks' star Brandon Jennings in which Jennings expresses his desire to date the singer Ciara and his amazement that President Barack Obama knew who he was.
You can find the whole story here.
Jennings talks about his love of Twitter, which got him into a little trouble a few months back, and his love for Carnevor, the Milwaukee restaurant.
Jennings tells writer Davy Rothbart that he met Obama during a stop in Washington.
"I couldn't believe he even knew who I was," Jennings said. "He razzed if the older players were still making me carry their bags."

What does it say about our POTUS that he seems to have such a keen interest in basketball that he makes out final four brackets, watches ESPN Sportscenter every night, AND actually had a meeting in the oval office of the WHITE HOUSE with the perenial doormats of the NBA, the Milwaukee Bucks? It is amazing that he has enough time to this when most of his work days start at 9:30 am and end by 5pm.
It is no wonder he thinks Austrians speak 'Austrian', there are 57 states, insurance premiums will go down 3,000% under ObamaCare, and people who aren't as brilliant as he are bitter and clinging to their guns and religion. I am no longer surprised or shocked by anything this guy does or says, but I am almost always disappointed by what he does.
“He asked if the older players were still making me carry their bags.”....................................Isn’t that racist?”
No, that’s what rookies have to do. It is an initiation rite.
"date" the singer Ciara? Is that what the kids are calling it these days? :)
I don’t get it.
I don’t care for Obama at all ... but, I don’t see that it says anything negative about him that he has interests outside of work. That he filled out an NCAA bracket and watches SportsCenter regularly is not particularly problematic.

Hussein Obama’s love of basketball ranks pretty low on my scale of importance. In fact, it’s off the scale.
