As far as I know, parents of Catholic School children pay taxes that support events like the Easter Egg roll, just like parents of Public School kids.
I love your comment although I do not think any families of public school students in DC pay taxes. So the kids whose parents are footing the bill are expressly excluded. Welcome to our new reality.
