Mitt Romney was for health care before he was against it. And in 2012, hes headed for a double-talking disaster that would make John Kerry cringe.
I lived in Massachusetts in 2002, and Mitt Romney is the only Republican Ive ever voted for.
Mostly, I dont even regret it; he was a good governor and his opponent was lousy. But since winning that election, hes become known primarily for two thingsflip-flopping, and his state-level universal health-care program. Its a program that sets up a system thats quite similar to whats envisioned by the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act signed into law Tuesday by President Barack Obama. And that means that the two pillars of Romneys political careerthe health-care plan and his unswerving determination to pander to the conservative basehave come into sharp, almost embarrassing, tension.

Save the article. Soon the left will be told to support Romney as thier preferred opponent since he is so weak.
Go back to Bain Capital, Romney
As a politician? EPIC FAIL !
Plus he's the left's failsafe guy. He is pro gay special rights, pro abortion, big government spending, universal health, anti gun rights candidate.
The liberal gay MSM would always rather have a democrat, but if they could choose the Republican candidate they want Romney, because he is basically a democrat without the party affiliation.
Most shameless? Not by a longshot. Not while Obama, Biden, Reid, Pelosi, Rangel, Durbin, Stupak and a whole host of others are alive.
Shameless? You bet. Romney is damaged goods.
Epic Fail!

Think that phrase is from World of Warcraft. That would be my bet as to it’s origins and where it became popular.
Cliff Claven with a keyboard. I’m considering it as my new tagline. Would make the change if I didn’t think people needed my current tagline . . . over and over . . . a reminder . . . in these dark and dangerous days.
Don’t quit!
Except for Stupka you know aht you are getting with those Donkeys. Romney either is a wolf in sheep’s clothing or simply believes in nothing. Either way he should go.
I think he is politically dead, having bankrupted Massachusetts by installing a universal healthcare plan leaves him unelectable in my book.
I tried to like Romney in 2008, I really did. But he could not win me over during the debates, If you closed your eyes and just listen to his answers during the 2008 debates he did not sound like the Reagan Conservative I am looking for. But what really did it, was at the Iowa Debate, the famous “Show of Hands on Climate Change” question.
Q: “Show of hands - How many of you believe Climate Change is a serious threat, and caused by human activity?”
Before Fred saved their butts with his “we are not playing hands” response, Romney, Rudy, McCain, and I think Huckabee all had their hands up.
And watch Romney after Freds brave interruption, clap his hands and say Im with that guy. A little too late for that, he was caught with his hand up. Thats not leadership, thats, me too, me too.
Then after, you here the most idiotic rambling and soft peddling from just about all of the GOP candidates until it was time to move on to the next question. As a Republican, I was embarrassed.
Not one of them looked like a Leader on the issue, except for Fred but they wouldnt let him answer. Not one of them had the brass ones to tell the moderator, look, there is not one bit of solid evidence that Man is causing any sort of climate change, and were not going to throw billions and billions of dollars at something we dont even know we can fight. Now an answer like that on National TV would have had me and Republicans all over saying YES!, and probably would of sparked our interest in the candidate saying it. But it didnt happen.
In case you forgot, here is that question on youtube.

“Dont quit!”
Never!

Not quite. To be a wolf in sheep's clothing, Romney would have to be willing to hide his beliefs. He doesn't.
Mitt Romney firmly believes in Mitt Romney. So much so that he'll say anything to get himself elected. He believes in throwing ethics, morality and decency to the winds to get himself elected and shows this every time he opens his mouth.
All that matters to Romney is that he has enough money to finance his own campaign if need be (last time he financed it to the tune of 40+ million dollars), and that cameras and his fawning sycophants show up wherever he goes. Its all about him.
Either way he should go.
I couldn't agree more.
Classic case when one goes along with liberals...expect a knife in the back. Same thing happened to John McCain after he sold us out, his liberal buddies threw his sorry ^ss under the bus.
Thanks for the video; great clip and I agree with your assessment. But if Huck was the one next to McCain, on the end, I didn’t see his hand raised. However, it was really hard to tell with the camera shot being so far away.
Our field was pathetically weak in 2008; Hunter and Fred were the only candidates worth a darn, but they couldn’t advance far.
In 2012, it’s Palin or no one for me.
Huckabee is to the right of McCain in the video. The guy on the right end is Keyes, then McCain, the Huckabee, Romney, Thompson ,and so on.
Huckabee is a nice enough guy, but has his own political baggage and just does not fire up the Right. Another Bob Dole.
