Every actual American must take a stand and refuse to comply with this unconstitutional fraud. Individuals, businesses and states.

I dont think it has to go that far the IRS will just remove the money from your personal accounts at the banks or tax returns its already written in the bill.

As I understand it the fine is $750 for not having insurance or $2,000+ cap for a household. Either amount would be about 1/10th or 1/20th the cost of insurance so I will take the fine thank you very much. If I get sick I can always buy my insurance at the time of need since there is no way coverage can be denied. Sure there is the risk of jail but if 100 million or so follow this path I think the likelihood of arrest start to get in winning the Powerball jackpot territory.

Sadly, I'm sure our communist masters will soon correct this major flaw in their grand plan and adjust the fines to be over $20,000.

don't think the conservatives on this court would be intimidated by this bonehead. FDR was very popular. Barack is not.

Justice Alito, We won't get to you but we know you have family at this address in Cleveland. You wouldn't want anything to happen to them would you?

Commies that have total control of their slaves don’t resort to fines; they resort to “re-education” camps.

If it is 5-4, Scalia will vote to uphold HCR because otherwise, the Commerce Clause would not support the drug and obscenity laws he likes, either.

Which is why we need to repeal the 16th amendment and do away with the leviathan of corruption it brings. If any other governmental entity wanted to search and / or seize an individual's property they would have to go before a judge and get a warrant. The IRS can seize whatever they want, whenever they want and the individual can do nothing to stop them. Even if your account is fully paid and their records show a balance of 0.00 they will still hold all of your assets indefinitely and there is nothing you can do about it.

A couple hundred years ago we fought a revolution over less tyranny than this

I have always thought that was a violation of the search and seizure restrictions of the 4th amendment. It clearly states that ones property cannot be seized without a warrant and no warrant can be issued without leagal testimony.

I have also wondered if the individual states could repeal their vote to ratify individual amendments. I think we might be able to get the approving states below 3/4 of the total

(It would ruin the spending plans Congress has if they didn't have a steady flow of tax dollars from an income tax)

I predict Scotus will find National Socialist Healthcare to be Constitutional. Not that it is, but the histories of decaying societies forces me to be realistic.

Unless we revolt, it won't be long before we are reduced to sniveling serfs who, as a last resort, will contact their Congress-clowns and plead with them to intervene with a nameless, faceless bureaucrat who denied healthcare to you or a loved one. Critical healthcare will depend on whether there is an R or D on your voter registration.

The IRS who is now in the hiring stage will just tap your personal account and take the money so the fine makes no difference the Messiah will take it. Am starting to save my mayonnaise jars now.

Keep your stash somewhere you have no legal ties to. The IRS stormtroopers are not limited by the 4th amendment and will search your home and property at their whim without need for a warrant. I would suggest somewhere on Forest service lands or in a chapel on a public university. Government employees will never enter a chapel as there is a good chance they would see a cross there.

since we can’t buy health insurance across state lines, then it isn’t interstate commerce in the first place.

Bingo!
