I related a humane effort to try to prevent
the monstrous amount of needless death in
an impoverished nation.
If you disagree with compassionate outreach
when it’s catastrophic, I have nothing for
you.
What exactly are you for and whom do you
think offers that? What positive actions
are you taking to make things better, besides
posting and looking backwards here? That’s
if you can get off your Bush bong and swimming
in the repetitive Groundhog Day BDS recrimination
and resentment trip.
You come off as grouchy. And if you’re in your
20-30’s and bitter, God help you. I don’t envy
the people in your life. Hope things improve
for you.
Voluntarily giving of one's own time, funds, and resources to help another is compassionate, laudable, and the right thing to do.
Taking someone else's funds and resources against their will, or forcing them to surrender their time (i.e., forcing them to enter into a state of servitude), isn't compassionate, nor is it praiseworthy. It is, however, wrong in every sense of the word.
You fail to recognize the difference.
