Don't know...although it's probably not as severe as you suggest (at least for the time being).Someone who knows Canadian law or has been prosecuted under this law (Mark Steyn was,I think) would have to answer you.However it seems likely that fines would be involved...very possibly *big* fines.And it seems possible to me that jail time could be involved...but that's just a hunch on my part.

She could also be banned from Canada which,IIRC,could make it difficult for her to enter other countries as well.
