They can’t do anything without wealth to redistribute, so the key is to deny them this as much as possible.

I “retired” 5 years ago and have never regretted it. A LOT of money can be saved from not spending on things you can either do yourself or forgo: clothes, gas, manicures, housecleaning, laundry, childcare (if you have children), eating out (plus you will eat better), etc. You will probably find that your quality of life will go up even though the paycheck coming in is lower.
