I would have thought that we had our fill of Americans killing Americans in 1864, but, we all have short memories.

NO, WE DON'T! Would you please give the cliches a REST?

These people are trying to rule us WITHOUT THE CONSENT OF THE GOVERNED! What part are you not getting here?

That is a load of crap. These people DO have the consent of the governed, we had an election. They won. I was out working to elect McCain/Palin, were you? Or were you one of the people who sat home because McCain wasn’t a “real” conservative.

Sorry that probably wasn’t fair, but I spent a lot of time trying to make sure that Barry never got his chance to even try this stuff, and a lot of people on this board and in the Republican ranks couldn’t stomach McCain and so now we have to deal with this crap.

As far as the rest of it goes, I don’t know about you, but a war that killed more US Citizens than all the other wars we have been in combined does not, and will not ever be “cliche” for me.

America has a short memory. In 2003 when we invaded Iraq, we had near universal approval. It was only three short years later that we lost Congress because of our “war weariness”. Most Americans don’t want to know about something that lasts longer than a NASCAR race or and NFL game. Their are patriots here and in other places, but the vast majority of people are sheep.
