Yeah, except that the “well now the American people see that it’s time to throw the bums out” strategy has never, ever worked.

Oh, I don't know. Worked (for a short time) in '94. And I think that people are a whole lot madder now than they were then. Clinton was a buffoon, but he was politically savvy. The current cabal is too dismissive of the anthill that they've been kicking.

I think that it depends on if Republicans can put up some decent candidates. I'm not one of those damn fools who's waiting for the second coming of Ronald Reagan.... but there's got to be SOMEONE who's conservative and qualified for the job who wants it. In November, Republicans could run a Wooden Indian in some of these districts and win going away. Hopefully, some smart people will step up.

That's why I said in some previous posts that I'm working within the system.
