I’ve said it before here and here goes again: Secession is the coward’s way out; avoiding the tough option of fighting to maintain the constitution. It didn’t work in 1865 and it won’t work now. Yes, it may be a war at this point but not so much a civil war as a second revolution to reclaim what the founding fathers fought to establish...a constitutional republic. Secession is no different from what the democrat party would like to see happen, divide and conquer.
