I’ll take the words of the Constitution and a Congressional Act codifying the procedure ruling out the possibilities you’ve thrown out on this thread against the letter of a former Justice (who made some horrible decisions) to a RINO talking-head any day.
And if anyone thinks that there is a problem and there needs to be an amendment... there happens to be a perfect way to do it, which has worked just fine for 17 Amendments, from 1795 to 1992, the 11th through the 27th Amendments.
I'll consider any Amendment to the Constitution that is put up that way, and as has been done continuously from 1795 to the present (as of 1992).
I don't go looking for solutions where none are needed and especially when we have a solution that works just fine.
