Rush said best today. This is a bill to destroy the middle class.
Maxists want a ruling class (which is wealthy) and lower poor class that they can control. Nothing in between. Its all about power.

I'm waiting for the gory details of my colonoscopy to hit youtube.....
Actually, watching the House debate, yesterday, I thought of the irony, black politicians reattaching the leg irons to their black constituency. This health bill isn't reparations. It's reinstituting slavery.

Well, there is my answer to the question I posed on another thread, "why were the Dems willing to do this at the risk of being fired in November, or November 2012?"
The voters will have had no experience with the actual, concrete effect of the government takeover of medical care at the time of the 2010 congressional elections or the 2012 presidential election. All they will have will be conflicting rhetoric and you can depend on the mainstream media to go along with the rhetoric of those who passed this medical care bill
Just Damn!

Despite whatever "firewalls" or "lockboxes" there may be to shield our medical records from prying political eyes, nothing is as inevitable as leaks in Washington. Does anyone still remember the hundreds of confidential FBI files that were "accidentally" delivered to the White House during Bill Clinton's administration? Maybe Dems feel when they have the power of life and death over us - AND the power to leak our personal medical information - that they won't have to worry about us objecting to this horror. Dems: thuggy little as-holes.

Sowell hits the nail on the head here! He's absolutely 100% correct.
If the commies aren't stopped, they are bound to turn the US into a third-world dictatorship in short order. They care not about what the public wants.

"With politicians now having access to our most confidential records and having the power of granting or withholding medical care needed to sustain ourselves or our loved ones, how many people will be bold enough to criticize our public servants, who will in fact have become our public masters?"It's called, "Slavery."
Welcome to the USSA, comrades. Don't complain, comrades, or your name might drop from the list for operations or medicine or a college loan.

Wow. Sowell nails it
again. Petty government blackmail.
Travis nails a great example of why government shouldn't have anything to do with how kids go to college:
They even control ALL student loans now. Who gets to go? Friends of The Party. Of course, teenagers will have to do 100s of hours of mandatory volunteeris known as community service. Mainly for social justice orgs like ACORN that can begin the pre-brainwash even before college.
What is the government even DOING being involved at all in student loans? Can't we please have a Republican party principle that defends against the very concept?
It's called "limited government," and a lot of Americans yearn for it.
