A disgusted U.S. Sen. Scott Brown urged anyone upset by last nights historic passage of the $940 billion House health-care overhaul to swarm the Senate with phone calls in a last-ditch effort to block Democratic fixes.
Brown, saying hes doing his best to blunt the sweeping reform, said this morning theres one last chance to curb a long list of changes tucked into a reconciliation bill.
The way people can get involved is to now call your senators and tell them how you feel, the Wrentham Republican said on WEEI-AM.

It took me months to agree.
Brown is a RINO. He says so himself, now that he
is elected.
He supports RomneyCARE, ROMNEYCARE-PLUS, fascist medicine.
They are trying hard not too. However, every successful social movement, for better or worse, just keeps escalating. We should be using the model of the left. Consider, the struggle in South Africa and the civil rights and anti Vietnam War movement in this country. We need to come back stronger and more vocal each time. It really is time for some very public nonviolent civil disobedience. We need to portray them for the tyrants they are, you-tube videos of people being dragged off. This will require more of a commitment from us than it ever did from the left. We are conservative and are concerned about our jobs and our reputations. But soon there will be nothing to save.
well if the pot isn’t calling the kettle black.
I would call Michigan Senators Levin and Stabenow, but I can’t think of any more certain way to waste five minutes of my time. Might as well dig the lint out of my navel.
I called both of those commies several times this past three months...they’re idiots. The good news? If you watched the debate & vote Sunday night, you can see that Levin my croak any second. With any luck, maybe he died while I was typing this.
“...well dig the lint out of my navel.”
they need the heat. Make them feel they need a firesuit to walk in public....
EXCELLENT point...and it was eventually answered with an appropriate response.
I don’t care what he supports at the state level in his own state, so long as he stands stong with the Republicans in the US Senate against the unconstitutional takeover of health care on the national level.
“Do NOT let them be in public ANYWHERE without constant harassment and intimidation.
Its time to use liberal methods.”
I would also suggest that we start claiming that they and/or their staffers are calling us “crackers” and “honkies,” and that we make up whatever offensive words we want to hear coming out of their mouths.
They do it. We should too.
So was the killing of 3,000 people on 911.
I hate that word.
IF the RINOS Collins & Snowe had let the thing die in committee it would have helped. When are they up for re-election?
If only Coakley had won. /s.
vaudine
He thought he would be the 41st vote. We all did. We didn’t realize the depth of Democrat treachery. Then there’s the fact that the dems always have Lindsay Graham when the going gets tough for them.
i have a particularly brilliant friend that actually had a solution to roll back obamascare.
1-filibuster doc fix and force the rats to admit to lieing about the cost savings.
No doc fix until obamacare is rescinded and see how the rats react to that.
That’s not true and it isn’t fair.
Don’t expect the morons in a deep-blue state like MA to elect a conservative pub. Yes, it’d be nice, but it’ll happen when pigs fly. Brown is not a bad guy nor a liberal pub. I don’t see MA doing any better. I’m shocked they did this well.
As for deathcare, the election of Scott Brown made life a nightmare for them in getting deathcare passed and forced them to take unconstitutional steps that may prove to be their undoing or at least gut the thing in a major way.
Brown is conservative enough and his election stopped the Dems in their tracks for a while. We have far worse individuals running such as Tom Campbell in CA and Mark Kirk in Illinois both of which are to the left of many Democrats.
Is this still possible or are we beyond that?
"The way people can get involved is to now call your senators and tell them how you feel," the Wrentham Republican said on WEEI-AM.
WEEI is a popular sports talk program, where he got plenty of airtime during his campaign.
