My sentiments exactly.
I do not understand the Republican Party’s deep seeded compulsion to mewl and whine an apology every time they tell the truth!
I had truly hoped that the Repubs were finally showing some spine - now this.
Screw those Dems. The shameful way they act? The stunts they pull?

He is not apologizing for the truth. He is only apologizing enough to get ahead of the BS. He spoke the truth because he meant to but there are still hoops to jump through!
Who was the guy hollared “You lie!”? He apologized for his handling not for what he said as well.
It is a fine line to walk in getting and keeping the public on board and this guy had the guts to dance right on the edge. I think he deserves kudos rather than crappos.
