Actually, it’s 2,700 pages long and it found it’s way to DC a few months ago.

Deeply ironic the timing is in this one.

LOL, yeah, food coupons are boring, but maybe the death certificates found will at least be of some interest.

I have a very unusual book on my shelf titled “The Uses Of Adversity”. It seems the Jewish doctors in the Warsaw Ghetto decided that since they could not save the populace from starvation, it would be of medical scientific use to study the effects. I recall reading that eyesight remains sharp late in the process, they theorized it was so a starving person would still be able to find food sources.
It also seems many of the doctors, being a sort of elite in the deteriorating hospital the nazis allowed to operate, were able to escape from the Ghetto as things got worse.
Also discussed things like guards on watchtowers shooting children at random for sport.
Very harrowing reading.

Be sure Ahmadinajad gets a copy of the papers.

Leonard Tushnet. Subtitle: Studies of Starvation in the Warsaw Ghetto. Published 1966 by A. S. Barnes & Company.
The author is a doctor who also wrote a book about the resistance movement in the Ghetto, but he was not there. He interviewed the 7 surviving doctors who participated in the study.

While I am curious, I don't think I have the stomach to read this book. I like to know how the enemy thinks, but this is just too much.
Glad you did though. Those poor souls. Your post is timely to enlighten us of things to come for us.
