Exactly! My hearing-aid guy weighs well over 300 pounds, can barely move and is in obvious discomfort with dis-ease. He has about 10 or 11 prescription bottles on his desk. I would well imagine some are to counteract the side effects of others. We've gone the holistic route at our household. My DH just asked for the bottle of peppermint oil because his stomach was bothering him. Only a drop in hot water took care of the issue, as I currently am drinking my spiked-with-cayenne-pepper-tincture water. While some prescriptions are necessary, I think most illness can be aided (or prevented) by holistic means.
