Pennsylvania's AG, Tom Corbett, is a Republican. He's also running for Governor in November. Rendell is term limited, so there will be a new governor in PA, no matter what. The November 2009 elections were overshadowed by what happened in VA and NJ, but they were a strong showing for the GOP in PA. Statewide judicial races went Republican, as did many county and local races.
I was in Harrisburg a month or so back in support of draft legislation supporting health care liberty. I don't have the paperwork at hand, but a constitutional amendment has been proposed. PA has two problematic senators and a bunch of big-city voters who skew our elections. However, we also have a lot of solid patriots here in the Cradle of Liberty. I might add that many tea party patriots in DC these last months have come down from PA on buses . . . we rolled up our sleeves quite a while ago.
Thanks TFOD.
I lived in PA for 9 years (Philly and suburbs of). I wonder if maybe this will wake up all the soccer moms? I kind of doubt it. Obama’s not Bill Clinton, though.
A few of them drove me nuts before they got married and became soccer moms. They drive me nuts still, but from a distance.
