It's a hollow sort of rhetoric with no teeth. So why bother? NO repeal is ever going to happen while Obama is president. Even if Republicans manage to get control of the house or Senate, or both, there is NO way they will have enough to override a presidential veto of any “repeal” legislation. It would be 2013 at the EARLIEST, and even then it's a crapshoot. There will be millions of newly nationalized illegals eager to vote for Democrats. So the waters are murky about the political landscape at best. DeMint’s legislation is a tantrum, and not much more than that, practically speaking.

We we CAN do is make sure, every day and every where we can, to let people know what's in this bill and how it will affect them PRACTICALLY. The Democrats own it. So let's let everyone know the IRS will be forcing them to buy Government Insurance; let them know they will be placed on Medicaid; let them know about all the practical aspects. THAT would be the “start”

Conservatives have to speak up while the iron is hot right now. That’s what DeMint is doing now. He knows who just passed the bill and who controls the Congress right now.

I only hope that when they do speak it isn’t of the foolish or overreaching variety. I think DeMint here is just using the opportunity to lay out the deceptions and ramifications the Dems employed and voted on so voters will know what to look for in the voids of their TVs.

That might be true, but I don't see why a Republican House would not be able to de-fund this mess. The house can even de-fund a war if they want to, surely they could de-fund much of this Marxist crap.
