Other options on going Galt - do a cost benefit analysis of the spouse working, with higher taxes, it may be cheaper for one (husband or wife) to become a stay at home parent.

sorry, "going Galt" can be saving your money, only spending the minimun to get you by.........
BUT NOT by getting on government subsidies.
Going Galt is taking care of yourself & your family but not more so that the looters can't take money from you for someone else to spend.
