“No newspaper coverage of the DC rallies against the health care bill, but there is NOW newspaper coverage of DC rallies about immigration reform? Here on the front page! Very selective news coverage! “
Ya think?
They’re just covering the people who matter...and the people who matter are those who support Obama and Obamacare......AND Obamacare wouldn’t have a chance if it hadn’t been for the bribes Obama gave the Hispanic caucus like amnesty, free health care for Puerto Rico, more government funded hispanic clinics.
Obama showed up in video to encourage the protest.
{snip] WASHINGTON (AP) Frustrated with the pace of action to overhaul the country’s immigration system, thousands of demonstrators descended on the nation’s capital Sunday, waving American flags and holding homemade signs in English and Spanish.
President Barack Obama, who promised to make overhauling the immigration system a top priority in his first year, sought to reassure those at the rally with a video message presented on giant screens at the National Mall. The president said he was committed to working with Congress this year on a comprehensive bill to fix a “broken immigration system.”
Obama said problems include families being torn apart, employers gaming the system and police officers struggling to keep communities safe.

MSM/SRM journalists would have us believe that if they didn't cover it, then it didn't happen.
Look at the big discrepancy in insured vs. uninsured rates corresponding to citizens vs. noncitizens. The latter and larger group is likely the one that's being "paid under the table" to perform yard work, babysitting, food service, etc. The people I see hanging around the railroad tracks at Delaware and Third Streets in West Berkeley, hoping for some day labor work, are very likely not here legally, and are part of this very large uninsured group.
In the Atlanta area 1200 “immigrants” were boarding 30 buses yesterday headed for DC. One guy they interviewed said they’re numbers would make the Tea Party protest look like what it was - “a tea party”. They group behind him looked very excited and confident as they were boarding the buses. Don’t know who was funding it.
Immigrants and their U.S.-born children account for 71 percent of the increase in the uninsured since 1989. 53% of immigrant headed families are on welfare. The poverty rate for immigrants and their U.S.-born children (under 18) is 17 percent, nearly 50 percent higher than the rate for natives and their children.
Milton Friedman said, You cannot simultaneously have free immigration and a welfare state.
You & Me => Federal Taxes => Obama & Party => Stimulus Money => SEIU, ACORN & the rest of the socialist front groups
Oh, you noticed that too? Hmmm, I hate the MSM as much as I hate this government.
