Too true. Do not know why people are saying he caved. Dems were probably laughing at all the people here hoping that Stupak was a statesmen and vote no. Not in this atmosphere, and the leadership probably thinks his district's constituency are too blind, unlike dems who are "allowed" to vote no in conservative districts (*cough* Heath Schuler *cough*) which pay attention.

Say what you will about Pelosi, but people here must admit she is shrewd, effective, and driven before we can turn things around. Fear is what you need to counteract a despot like Pelosi...
