Fox news Producer Chad Pergram was just on the phone with anchor Megyn Kelly excitedly telling the story of Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi walking arm and arm with Rep. John Lewis though a throng of thousands of Tea Party protesters on Capitol Hill who were chanting "kill the bill."
Pergram compared the scene to civil rights era marches with Pelosi and Lewis as the good guys and the Tea Party protesters as the bad guys.
Lewis and other members of the Congressional Black Caucus have made unsubstantiated charges that they were called n***** by protesters yesterday while walking between the Capitol and Congressional offices.
Pergram said Pelosi and Lewis were accompanied by several other Democrats and that she was carrying a large ceremonial gavel.
Today marks the 45th anniversary of a civil rights march in Selma, Alabama that Lewis participated in.
The picture Drudge has up right now... looks like pelosi was asking for a reaction. Why do that unless they were provoking the crowd.
I appreciate you so much for setting me straight. I can now see the folly of my previous position, and I belch in your general direction as a way of celebrating the opening of my eyes. /s
Pelosi’s little theatrical march today, arm-n-arm with Lewis on the 45th anniversary of a civil rights march in Selma, Alabama, has me CONVINCED that this was all planned and set up with yesterday’s name calling, which I believe was yelled by one of their PLANTS.
I did leave out that I listen to the radio—though not to many talk radio shows—mainly Rush, and a local guy here in Austin that can be entertaining sometimes.
Once again, stop worrying about the one comment start worrying about what you are going to do now that the last of our freedoms have been taken away from us by the dimwits. I guarantee you will be ready with a few choice swear words before election time rolls around.
BTW, I didn't see the election that made you one of the posting police.
Don’t let them do this to you and to your free country. Resist! Resist! Resist! In your heart you know what you should do. NEVER QUIT! Remember and VOTE! Shun them all. This is the beginning of a great fight...a great fight.
Yeah, I got it. Posting my opinion, which happens to vary from yours, is akin to being a posting policeman. Again, I'm so glad that you have put me in my place.
I have not intention of giving up, I will fight and so will all other conservatives and the others 60 some odd % of the country who do NOT want socialized medicine.
No, posting your criticism of someone’s remarks because you didn’t like the content and trying to suppress her right to say such things, makes you one of the posting police. I will not answer any more of your ignorant rants, I am tired of dealing with you.
Name calling pretty clearly didn’t happen. This was just propaganda/street threater thought up by some superannuated politicians ~
