Also, rules have changed - they will vote on the senate bill first.

If that happens, it goes back to the House and they will have to go back to committee again. This will result in a huge delay before the House can vote on it. On top of that, the whole wording of what they will then have to vote on will be totally changed thus making the House dems rethink their votes.

No, I’m talking about the senate HC bill, not the senate reconciliation bill. The House votes on the senate bill, zero signs it into law, the House then votes on the recon bill, and then supposedly the senate takes up the recon bill, approves it with at least 51, and zero signs that into law, thus amending the original senate bill that the House doesn’t like but is stuck with because of the Scott Brown senate election/41 pubs/no cloture.
