A video has surfaced this evening of the incident today involving civil rights icon Rep. John Lewis (D-GA) and Tea Party protesters on Capitol Hill.
Rep. Lewis has alleged that he was called a n***** by the protesters.
Rep. Andre Carson (D-IN), who was walking with Rep. Lewis, says he heard the word n***** fifteen times.
Rep. Emanuel Cleaver (D-MO) claims "It was a chorus" of people yelling "n*****."
The video, filmed by Marooned in Marin and posted at YouTube, shows Reps. Lewis and Carson walking together, with Rep. Cleaver several yards behind as they fight their way through the Tea Party patriots like they were in 1965 Selma, Alabama.
Reps. Chaka Fattah (D-PA) and Maxine Waters (D-CA) are also walking behind Lewis in the video.
View the shocking video here.
I’m listening at max volume on $300 Bose computer speakers, and I don’t hear it.
I don't believe that. They know exactly what they are doing.
This was a staged event. Those congressman walked into the crowd seeking to provoke them.
John Lewis had his head beat on so many times back in the 60’s he thought by provoking the crowd he could become a victim again and help the cause.
Bull Connor was an idiot and a fool when he turned the dogs and hoses on Martin Luther King and company back in 1963.
The Civil Rights Movement won the propaganda war and looked like the poor victims.
All they got was “kill the bill” but they apparently spell it starting with an “n.”
If anyone ever sees Lewis or these other guys at a protest in the future say Hello and shake them hands, heck give em a hug.
Kill them with kindnes using their old civil rights tactics right back on them.
Fantastic Nutmeg!
THANK YOU SO MUCH for all of your efforts!!!
I didn’t hear any N word and we were right there. I called him a Communist, because he is, but heard no N word.
We’re too classy for that kind of self defeating crap.
Yup... good post!
Someone needs to post the video at DU..they are giddy over the accusations
Hmmm, I am hearing it relatively clear at 45 seconds...it’s just kind of off in the distance. You have to push all the other noise out.
...I don’t hear any racial slurs.
But even if there were, yelling slurs isn’t a crime.
I watched it 5 times and I didn’t hear anything except “kill the bill”. I saw the arrogant looks on the faces of those bastards. I’m glad I wasn’t there. I would not have said the n word, but I probably would have called them arrogant Marxist bastards.
Yep, Tea Partiers are a real problem for the Rats, so they conveniently fabricate a distraction, knowing that their media pals will obliginly provide cover for them.
Aw, thanks, FRiend. The election of Scott Brown (and the Virginia and New Jersey elections) were brought up a "few" times today by various speakers!
Another chant we did: "We'll remember - in November!"
Well, well. The last-minute slur falls apart. I’m not entirely certain what it was supposed to accomplish anyway.
Since there’s nothing on the video to support the title of the thread, maybe the title should be changed?
Wow...I can’t hear it...at all.
And fifteen times? LMAO.
And, look at the procession....there are TWO people doing either audio or video recording or BOTH.
Where is THEIR documentation?
This was STAGED.
Nothing.... absolutely nothing. If they can call each other that 24/7, it can’t be a crime.
That's exactly what it looked like to me. It had staged written all over it.
Yup, and my FRiend StarFan already told me here that CNN reported that the Tea Partiers were hurling racial ephithets and spitting on Congressmen they opposed.
Unbelievable... this did NOT happen anywhere that I saw, yet democRAT members of Congress and CNN are reporting that this actually happened.
Was anyone arrested? This could be verified. However the CNN reporter who heard the word faggot used againt Barney Frank cannot and I have my doubts. Reminds me of accusations of racial slurs and threats at an Obama rally which proved to be a fabrication and utter nonsense.
