This is a very ill-advised time for Obama to pick a fight with Israel.
If Obama and Clinton applied half the pressure on rogue states that they apply to our only reliable ally in the area, we’d be in a lot better shape. And I’m afraid to think what “paying off” might mean to Hillary. Whatever it means, it can’t be good for Israel (or us).

It is not, however, “paying off” in the currency desired by the Obama administration; i.e., good will in the Arab nations toward the U.S. in general and the White House in particular. The Arabs continue to hate us, and will do so into the foreseeable future.
What it IS doing is undermining the political stability - indeed, the very existence - of the ONLY reliable American ally in the Middle East.
This, quite naturally, is payoff enough to an administration that is clearly and openly attempting, as best it can, to hobble the United States as it transforms the nation into yet another socialist basket case.
Not even Hamas thought this was “controversial” until Obama invented an issue of it.

Paying off in the sense that Israel has been willing to negotiate, but Hillary's terrorist buddies won't sit down till they've gained some concession.
