have faith in the system those guys 200 yrs ago fought for!

The 'system' has been infected and is rotting. When there is rot, it must be excised in one way or another.

You folks who think it’s SO d*mn NOBLE to start dissenting immediately through violence

You personally, are a liar.

Outright.

Huge tea parties across the nation, one of which filled the Washington DC mall with more people than Obonghit's inauguration preceded this.

There has been no "immediately through violence".

Oh, you win, too...
Your arguement that this is NOT a civilized society is proven through your complete lack of civility and polite discourse...
Congratulations and enjoy...

Civility when possible, War when required, acquiescing to tyranny never.

Semper Fidelis

You made claims you know are not true.

1. Did the tea parties happen or did they not?
2. Were the tea parties peaceful?

Think about the answer to those two, then get back to those you maligned.

...I think we need to exhaust ALL avenues of law to rectify this travesty before we call for arms...
I recall they did THAT 200 yrs ago...
I think some folks here are into too much Samuel Adams....

Sam Adams gets all the credit. In fact, many colonists needed no urging to tar and feather tax collectors in response to the Stamp Act. They did so of their own volition. There were minor rebellions, boycotting of paper, burning of paper - lots of bricks thrown, so to speak - before the Act was repealed.

As for pursuing legal redress of these grievances, Congress and the Executive Branch will use every measure to prevent us from overturning this. Our "Olive Branch Petition" received a fairer hearing from King George.

Unless you believe Obamacare is a form of reparation, trying to make an analogy with slavery laws of the past to Obamacare is completely false.

I see very little morality it the current situation. Just Greed, Power and Politics.

AIN’T JUST GRANNY & GRAMPS GETTING WHACK, MILITARY IS TOO.

KEEP THE CALLS UP! DC OFFICE LOCAL OFFICE

Hold your own street protest in front of your reps local offices. Or busy street corners. Try and get the local media to cover it. Hammer the Medicare/SS issue, nothing like mad grannies and gramps.

This is from a 2007 contact list of congressional aides. Some might not be there any longer, but worth a try. The ones on the one post are senate aides, a few have bounced back, it’s worth the effort to clog up their email system along with the phones, and 1/3rd of these senators are up for re-election.

Mail must be inspected for anthrax takes 2 weeks, so if you snail mail send a post card

CODE RED Contact list http://www.nrcc.org/CodeRed/targets/
Remember they are all being offered BRIBES for their votes. Ask them how much their bribe price is.

The National Republican Congressional Committee has published a target list on health care. In addition to continuing to contact the five Tennessee Democrat Congressmen, you can go http://www.votervoice.net/link/clickthrough/ext/94697.aspx to contact some of these targets. Much of the talk following Obama’s announcement has focused on how to defeat this second bill through reconciliation, but that is misleading because the first step to defeating Obamacare is not by concentrating on defeating the “fixer” bill but by defeating the Senate bill in the House when it goes to the floor for an up-or-down vote on Sunday March 21st.

Good idea from the bloggers at Hillbuzz:

Jason Altmire 202-225-2565, Aliquippa, 724-378-0928, Natrona Heights, 724-226-1304 (NO)
Michael A. Arcuri (NY-24) NO
Harry Teague NM NO

And here are toll-free numbers we can use to call any Senators or Reps.

At the first number below you must wait through a tape recording urging you to tell your Rep or Senator to vote “yes” for the health care bill. Just hang on and when the recording is over, you will get the Capitol operator. Just ask for your Rep or Senator’s office. Then you will either talk to an aid or have the chance to leave a message for him/her to vote NO on the health care bill.

When you use the second number and the Capitol operator comes on, just ask for your Rep or Senator’s office. Every time I use this number I get the Rep or Senator’s answer machine, so it may be set up that way all the time...to go to their answer machine. Either way you can leave a message to vote NO on the health care bill!

We need to use these toll free numbers that have been set up for the health care/ BO supporters and illegals to use! After all they are FREE!

Once the government takes a position that “We can help ourselves to as much of your paycheck as we want”, you are a slave of the government.

That’s been the case since the ratification of the Sixteenth Amendment to the Constitution.

It’s been downhill since.

There was no intent to draw an analogy between slavery and 0bamacare, at least not in that particular discussion; my point was that not all laws merit obedience. Your opinion may differ.

The other side of that coin is if you choose to violate the law, you then must accept the fact you may have to put your fate in the hand of a jury of your peers.

People who stand up for their beliefs in violation of the law, no matter what they are, enjoy a certain moral high ground because of risk.

Congress since they make the laws and appear to be immune from the law, do not have to make that choice. That gives them no moral standing because they are taking no real risk.

“I SO hope you are wrong...I have a kid I adore and want him to live in peace and prosperity...that will NOT happen through violence...”

Live Free or Die It just might have to get violent.

We better get organized, and fast. Things are only going to get much worse. People thought that voting Scott Brown in was our saving grace, he is powerless as we can see. Now, people are hoping the 2010 elections are the next saving grace, while we will vote out some bums, there needs to be a plan in place to get this farce off the books immediately.

Or a political campaign to throw the bums out next time either, for that matter.

I do not long for a war. However, I been preparing. I bought guns. I have bought ammo. I have taken lessons. I have doing more praying. I prepared my house, with a generator, extra food stores and etc. I encourage every American to do this, it might be the peaceful resolution this communist takeover.

I have participated in the Tea Parties. I wrote my congressmen, senator and Obama. I contributed to Scott Brown. Things seem to be getting wilder by the day.

Like Sam Adams and Patrick Henry.
